Yoga for Inner Beauty
If you do twenty minutes daily with yoga, you can improve your inner beauty. Complementary therapy is growing in popularity and yoga is one of the most widely practiced disciplines. The practice of yoga can help tremendously, especially during puberty, when the body is developing more quickly. Yoga helps in regulating glands that control the growth hormones. Adopting a fitness regimen with yoga can give you increased confidence, improved state of well being and a more shapely body. Yoga aids in improved cardiovascular health, toned muscles and increased flexibility. Yoga can help you improve your balance, strengthen and tone your legs, and firm your belly.
The improved blood circulation and hormone balance makes the inner physical system immaculate and the positions and various physical exercises of yoga provide shape to the external body. Yoga lends the skin a healthy glow by balancing the hormones and boosting the flow of oxygen-rich blood to our skin. This is something you need try!
This can keep the skin resilient and prevent dryness and excessive sagging. Yoga tones the facial muscles and also those in the neck. These asans can also prove to be a boon for those in their mid forties whose skin has started to wrinkle, dark circles have appeared around the eyes and the stomach has become loose and chubby. Give yourself the pleasure of a yoga workout and you just might get hooked and put yourself on the path to better health and fitness.
Other therapies and solutions people like to try are home remedies. More people try them all the time. There are many such as, remedies for wrinkles, dry patches, and even a home
remedy for snoring. More about home remedies in later posts.

New Beauty Products for Fall
This time of year poses some shopping dilemmas. Everyone is looking for bargains be it online or off. Everyone has their favorite shopping site. I do. But in the fall there are other things to consider. Fall clothing and accessories are out in all their lush splendor, but the temperature gauge clearly still reflects summer numbers.
You can stock up on discounted warm-weather basics like shorts, T-shirts and sundresses – but isn’t that what we already have? What’s an eager shopper to do? Turn your attention toward a new beauty destination for a fix or try out some fun products.
One of the newest spots to be buffed and polished is the much-anticipated Bliss Nail Spa on Shepherd. (No relation to the major beauty product company of that name.)
Bliss takes its nail services seriously, offering designated parking and a seat at the nail bar for those who need an emergency manicure.
Feeling royal? The private, leather pedi-thrones may be the way to beautify. The spa features a “Flavor of the Month,” choosing chic colors and styles for the latest in nail fashion.
Available for private parties, Bliss has a bright, modern décor. And aside from the nail bar, there’s a bar of the real kind, offering everything from coffee to cocktails.
But the nail spa’s least-glamorous aspect is what I find most comforting: a sterilization center where the stainless steel instruments are cleaned after each use in a proprietary three-step process that includes a germicidal/disinfectant soak, ultrasonic debris removal and medical-grade steam sterilization by an FDA-approved autoclave.
Natural beauty is the hook of British skin care line Nude, new to Sephora and Whole Foods. The “99 percent natural” line is made without parabens, mineral oil and silicones.
Creator Bryan Meehan previously owned Fresh & Wild organic food stores in London and saw a need for healthier products. Arranged by five skin types (dry, normal, oily, sensitive and aging), Nude’s products include cleansing oils, moisturizers, masks, scrubs and hydrating waters priced from $34 to $100.
Party season is fast approaching, and the No. 1 item to see me through the whirlwind is the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask. Any of us who’ve placed chilled cucumber slices on our eyes will appreciate these eye masks filled with three forms of glow-inducing oxygen, antioxidant vitamin C and anti-puff cucumber extract.
The treatment takes 15 minutes and costs some coin; the kits includes four packets at $54 each. Available at Sephora and www.blissworld.com
And because you just never know when a hair emergency may occur, the Hairspray Pen is at the ready. This sleek pen, good for 120 spritz-ups, promises salon-worthy holds. The extra bonus? The Hairspray Pen is TSA-approved for all United States flights.
It’s $5, available at Blue Mambo Salon in the Museum District.
I plan to cover other skin-related products such as acne products and eczema cream. Subscribe to my feed to be notified of future posts.

Silly Diet
I’m sorry but this just sounds ridiculous!
The basis of the no flour, no sugar diet is just that. You eliminate all added sugar and all flour from your diet. This means that foods such as bread, pasta, cakes, candies, and other foods that contain sugar or flour must go. The no sugar, no flour diet plan is comparable to a low carb diet, since both plans call for the restriction or elimination of certain food groups or types of food.
Sugar and flour are both sources for quick energy. However, if our bodies don’t use this energy right away, it gets stored as fat. By restricting or eliminating these two components of our diet, our bodies must then rely on stored energy in order to function properly. This stored energy is commonly referred to as “fat”. When we are running off of energy that the body has already stored and not adding more weight loss is under way. Using exercise will help to propel your results, and help your overall health and wellbeing.

How to use a lipstick pencil
Choose a lipstick pencil that is creamy and rich. A great one is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Bahama. Sharpen lipstick pencil. This will make your lines more precise and remove bacteria from the pencil. Outline lips for results. Depending on the size of your lips – you can create the – illusion of bigger or smaller lips. This can be done by drawing the line just inside or just outside of the natural curve.

How to save a melted lipstick
Have you ever broken or left your lipstick in the car, and it melted so you just threw it away because it was unusable? Well you no longer have to get rid of your lipsticks. Lipsticks can be expensive so anyway you can save them, you should.
If it melts from being in the car, don’t take the top off, just turn it upright and put it in the refrigerator for about an hour. This will reset the lipstick so you can still use it. It may not be as pretty but it still does the job.
